Undoubtedly the most exciting time to join Crown’s award winning Events & Conferencing department as a Full-Time Service Manager! This opportunity is open to not only currently experienced & capable Events Supervisors but also newly graduated hospitality professionals looking to develop & nurture their skills from scratch & kick start their career!

In this role you will be trained/expected to supervise teams to execute all F&B operational requirements for various events including an exciting array of gala dinners, weddings, functions as well as major televised events and conferences.

Role Responsibilities:

• Supervise & manage day to day operations to achieve planned outcomes and ensure operational plans are met for individual conferences & events
• Implement excellency in set up, floor plan specifications & executing events
• Supervise, coach & allocate floor staff to ensure shift requirements are met as well as identify training needs
• Encouraging teamwork to produce exceptional service standards
• Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided by all levels of staff

Key Selection Criteria:

• EITHER has previous experience in a similar  events/banquets role OR a recent graduate of a hospitality/tourism/events qualification 
• A strong passion & interest to develop a long term career in the hospitality industry
• Proven customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Exceptional time management skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work FT across a 24/7 rotating roster
• Must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work onsite
