About the Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for an Assistant Valuer to join our growing success and become a part of a vibrant working environment. Working within the dynamic Valuation and Advisory team, this role will allow you to showcase your existing skills as an Assistant Valuer or recent Gradate and further develop your career with a great company. This role offers the right candidate the flexibility to work full time or part time, with the ability to work from home as required.

Key responsibilities will include.

  • Assist the Division in providing a variety of valuation and property consultancy services to a large number of clients, with a focus on banking and institutional clients within the accommodation hotel and pub sector
  • Assist in undertaking valuations for acquisition, asset reporting and mortgage purposes.
  • Maintain a comparable sales and trading benchmark database for all hospitality property
  • Prepare regular hotel research marketing material
  • Meet valuation and project deadlines to ensure the highest standards of service
  • Maintain an understanding of both local and national hospitality markets
  • Assist our team of specialise Valuers based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide
  • Participate in the development of business relationships to provide services and identify business opportunities, including attending industry events

What Sets You Apart 

  • Completed a Bachelor of Property Economics or similar and be a Certified Practising Valuer
  • A keen interest in property and be eager to learn
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • High level skills in Microsoft software packages
  • Exceptional organisational skills and professional presentation
  • Proactive work ethic and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and a good problem solver
