The role

In this newly created role, you will support the EGM People & Performance to develop and deliver a Talent Acquisition Strategy, which identifies and solves challenges relating to attraction and retention, enables our client to build pipelines of talent for the future, builds on our client’s Employer Branding activities and reflects their Employee Value Proposition and positions our client as an employer of choice in the marketplace.

Specifically, you will:

  • Provide advice to hiring managers and assess candidates against key selection criteria;
  • Participate in interview panels, conduct behaviourally based interviews and provide feedback and coaching to panel members to develop their skills;
  • Coordinate and advise on end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, ensuring they are flexible, robust and meet the needs of the business;
  • Use social media platforms to identify, engage with and attract diverse talent and maintain a suite of recruitment resources, particularly interview guides that align with our client’s leadership standard; and
  • Research and participate in relevant professional events to support growth plan, promote positive employer branding and attract new talent.
  • About you

    You will enjoy devising pragmatic solutions to complex issues relating to future talent and resourcing requirements. You will lead and execute various activities in order to elevate our client’s employer brand and market reputation.

  • Ability to work in a role which blends strategy with operational delivery and flexing between the two as the business requires.
  • Additionally, you will have strong relationship building skills with demonstrated experience in running a robust recruitment process. You will be resilient in nature, commercial in approach, coupled with exceptional communication skills.

    You will have a strong passion for internal recruitment, with an energetic, professional and tenacious style. Experience in a relevant industry sector (logistics, infrastructure, engineering) will be highly regarded and demonstrated experience in working in a small and agile, but growing business, will also be of benefit.
