About the Position:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Events Coordinator to join the fast paced and successful Events team at Bond University. Responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of recruitment and engagement events and administration, this position will also support key marketing, recruitment and sales initiatives for the University.

In addition, this role will partner and collaborate with University departments and faculties to build on strong relationships with external vendors, sponsors and corporate affiliations to ensure consistency and successful execution of all events.

Critical to its success, candidates will need to demonstrate a high degree of organisation, stakeholder management and coordination skills to manage timelines of events and coordinate promotional plans and materials for upcoming events and functions.
 

About the person

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree and/or relevant experience in event management, sales and supporting hospitality operations, external relations and marketing. 
  • Significant administrative and organisational proficiency within a complex operating environment. 
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage events concurrently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills, including an ability to draft invitations, event publications, orders, routine correspondence, minutes, budgets and other events documentation. 
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities, process improvements and implement changes in collaboration with clients and colleagues. 
  • Good IT skills with Microsoft Office suite of programs, Zoom and Event Systems. 
  • Be an effective team player 
  • Experience working with sponsors and corporate affiliations will be an advantage.

    The salary for the position commences at $71,940.14 (Full Time Equivalent) plus 10.5% superannuation per annum.
