Job Description

  • Work days: Alternating Thursdays 0800-1630, every Friday 1130-2000 and 1 Sunday 0830-1700 in lieu of a week day every ten weeks.
  • $35.15 per hour (Mental Health EBA – Admin Grade 2)

About the facility 

The Swanston Centre is a 32 bed acute psychiatric admission unit providing Recovery Orientated care delivery for people aged 18 and over, experiencing the effects of major mental illness/distress. Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that value client centeredness, holistic care, accessibility, family inclusiveness, best practice, and ongoing professional development. We are fortunate to enjoy excellent internal relationships within our wide range of clinical programs. We have developed excellent partnerships with the local community that provide for seamless integrated care for our clients.

About the role  

Provide ward clerk assistance, secretarial, and receptionist services to the Swanston centre acute unit. This position enables the team to provide efficient, courteous and clinically effective treatment and care for people experiencing the effects of major mental illness and/or drug and alcohol issues.
