The Role

Working with the Executive Chef in Residence, this permanent part-time role will see you be responsible for the efficient operation of the culinary team at Aldinga Beach Court and Reynella Lodge by ensuring a safe, high quality food service is delivered to the consumers and guests of Life Care in line with the strategic direction of the business. 

Your core responsibilities are focused on the dining experience, harmonising the day to day operations of the culinary team in accordance with all legislation, internal processes & policies, food safety principles and role modelling the leadership behaviours that create a high performing, engaged culture.

Criteria

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery 
• Minimum 3 years experience managing a commercial kitchen (aged care desirable, hospitality experience also considered) 
• Extensive knowledge of Food Safety & HACCP 
• Current NCC Police Check (Aged Care / Vulnerable People) – or willingness to obtain
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination and Covid-19 vaccination and booster
