The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of Webuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

We are interested in hearing from Human Resources Advisorsto join our HR team. The HR Advisor will be based at our Lobs Hole site and will provide HR support to internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, the HR Advisor will manage a variety of HR related tasks.

The role will be fly in fly out from east coast Capital City’s or drive in drive out for any local applicants, 14 days on 7 days off.

The Role

  • Managing various HR queries from employees
  • Providing advice and guidance on HR operational and transactional processes
  • Designing, reviewing, and implementing improvements to business processes
  • Partner with Senior HR Advisor to provide coaching and mentoring on people management matters.
  • Conduct employee evaluations during probation.
  • Case Management, investigations and oversee grievances as required
  • Process and manage all employment changes of employment
  • Assist with the performance review process, development and talent management of employees
  • Prepare statistical HR data and reports as required

About the Person

We are looking for candidates with the following experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years generalist HR experience within a large multidisciplinary and diverse organisation.
  • Proven effective, consistent, and timely delivery of frontline support to employees.
  • Experience in preparing employee correspondence, maintenance of the HRIS position structure, and developing templates and policies.
  • Process improvement initiative and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience requiring a detailed understanding of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Experience in performance management and case management issues.
  • Excellent people skills including the ability to engage and influence key decision makers, and the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Capacity to deal with confidential and sensitive information and/or issues using discretion and judgement.
  • A hands-on approach, a ‘can do’ enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to think and act quickly on your feet.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritise.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Prepared to work a FIFO roster.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or equivalent on the job experience will also be considered.
