The opportunity

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for a Digital Delivery Officer to join the Media, Marketing & Digital Communications Branch in assisting with the delivery of impactful media, marketing & digital solutions.

Labour Hire hourly rate contract spanning 12 months with the opportunity to extend. APS5 level role paying an hourly rate of $53.63 per hour + Superannuation, to be based out of our client’s Richmond or Geelong location.

About the role:

The APS5 Digital Delivery Officer is a team membership position within the Digital Delivery team at the Agency. The Digital Delivery team are responsible for managing the day-to-day publishing of relevant and accessible content for our audiences. The person in this role will be accountable for organising content workflows and making independent decisions relating to publishing content on the Agency website. The position will provide best practice advice based on data, web accessibility and user experience principles.

your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the efficient publishing of evidence-based web content, in consultation with stakeholders
• Using data to inform decisions about content placement, channels and usefulness to the end user
• Ensuring all web content is accessible and align with the Agency’s style and brand guidelines
• Publishing content across several web assets (sites) based on best practice web accessibility and user experience principles
• Managing correspondence through team inboxes, including actioning requests or triaging requests to relevant team members for action

About you

• Technical knowledge of content management systems
• Attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Drupal Advantageous
• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement to be eligible for this position
