Reporting to the Parts Projects Support Manager, the Warehouse Optimization Specialist (known internally as Logistics Analyst and Improvement Specialist) will be responsible for conducting robust analysis of parts operational performance and provide recommendations for business planning to ensure the execution of WesTrac Parts strategy and alignment to the wider business strategy.

Additionally, this role will act as an Improvement Specialist with expertise in delivering projects and improvement initiatives using recognised project methodologies and will be accountable for managing projects sponsored by Parts Leaders and General Managers.

Location: South Guildford 

Roster: Monday – Friday 

About You:

  • Previous experience working in a data driven or analyst position – highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability in successfully planning & coordinating schedules, budgets and production of quality project documentation
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with all stakeholders of various levels
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of business financial management and ability to analyse large quantities of data across multiple systems
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and lead several project/improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in the identification of and actioning of improvement initiatives
  • Ability to create reports that demonstrate an improvement opportunity and track the improvements delivered
