The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing HR assistance to the different business units which may include recruitment, on and off boarding of employees, handling enquiries, providing guidance to leaders on processes, coordinating compensation and benefits along with HR related administrative tasks.

The HR Coordinator will support the HR Manager with the implementation of HR strategies and projects whilst assisting in driving our people first culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate the employee lifecycle including raising requisitions, recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding

  • Maintain the HR systems and electronic employee files

  • Raise all HR related purchase orders

  • Assist in the development and administration of HR related policies and procedures

  • Handle HR related enquiries and escalate concerns to HR Manager

  • Assist in developing department goals, objectives and systems

  • Liaise with Global HR on various projects and reporting

  • Collaborate with leaders on the development of job descriptions

  • Coordinate internal and external training as required

  • Develop, coordinate and implement HR related projects

  • Responsible for providing accurate on time reporting on HR related topics as requested

  • Interpret modern awards and the JLG Enterprise Agreement to provide advice and guidance to managers, employees and payroll as required

  • Liaise with employees and migration agents in regard to migration as necessary

  • Assist with the coordination of the bargaining of the JLG Industries Enterprise Agreement

  • Coordinate and collaborate with leaders on the completion of the performance review process including goal setting, annual and production performance reviews

  • Preparing internal communications such as memos and email

  • General administrative and ad-hoc duties as required
