  • THE OPPORTUNITY

    The Faculty of Health Science, Youth and Community Studies provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department of Community & Social Inclusion is currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals to effectively write course content and assessment tasks for the newly accredited CHC package.

    ABOUT YOU

    The successful candidates will be available 2-5 days per week, to undertake the following:

  • Unpack units of competency
  • Develop delivery plans in line with Holmesglen delivery proposals.
  • Develop unit outlines.
  • Develop weekly content, teaching and learning resources in a digital LMS.
  • Complete unit mapping
  • Write and validate assessment materials.
  • The relevant courses are Certificate IV and Diploma of Youth Work, Certificate IV and Diploma of Mental Health, and Diploma of Community Services.

    Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry qualification and relevant/current industry experience. This may include qualifications in psychology, social work, community services, youth work, or education.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • OR a higher-level qualification specialising in adult and vocational education.
