Position

Due to strong ongoing growth within South Australia, there is now a fantastic opportunity to join the motivated team as a Account Manager. The role will see you selling the full range of power generation solutions to both existing and new clients ranging in size from multi-nationals to small operations.

The position will largely be responsible for managing the companies largest mining accounts throughout SA. Given this, it is expected the successful candidate will plan regular sales trips across the state.

As the company holds a strong market share this position will inherit an already established portfolio of engaged clients but will also allow for the development of new business relationships. This is a territory-based role and will allow for autonomy and independence.

The company has an office based out of Adelaide; however this role can be entirely remote WFH for the right candidate.

Candidate

To be a successful candidate for this job you will have come from a strong sales background selling B2B, preferably within the construction plant & equipment, heavy machinery or civil industries.

The following attributes would be highly desirable:

  • Track record of high achievement within B2B sales
  • Mining industry knowledge
  • Equipment hire experience from within generators or compressors, earthmoving plant, access equipment/ EWPs or general hire
  • Background in capital equipment sales
  • Ability to work completely autonomously
  • Sales driven and a natural rapport builder

With strong written and verbal communication skills you’ll pride yourself on being able to nurture and develop strong business relationships to result in prosperity for both client and company. You must be self-motivated and will strive within a company culture that rewards effort and commitment to the team.
