Job Description

Wynberg is a heritage listed, eight bedroom home on a substantial piece of land atop the first hill back from the Brisbane River on Brunswick Street in New Farm. It has been in the Church ever since, serving as the home to the Archbishop as well as the presbytery for the clergy of St Stephen’s Cathedral and a guest house to domestic and international clergy.  Wynberg is a house of Hospitality and is used by its residents for social occasions, and as a venue for maintaining contacts with many members of the community, which is achieved through both formal and informal functions.  This dual purpose (home and function venue) of Wynberg is achieved through a small number of supporting staff including the Chef.
The Holy Spirit Seminary is a provincial entity. The bishops of five diocese govern the seminary supporting the rector and the members of staff.  Its mission is to form men for ordained ministry in the Catholic Church.
