Our client is Australia’s leading provider of senior lifestyle communities. We are looking for a talented Marketing Executive to help drive the brand forward and increase awareness of several high end communities among potential residents and their families.

As a Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan for several communities consistent with the brand’s overarching marketing strategy and brand tone, and provide support materials and data to the sales teams to assist in achieving commercial outcomes.

You will be tasked with:
• Supporting the day to day marketing operations with guidance from the Marketing Manager
• Developing and managing traditional marketing campaigns to support the strategic marketing plan
• Assisting with development and management of project branding, ensuring consistency across all marketing media and collateral to retain project integrity and clarity of positioning to the market
• Assisting with monitoring sales and marketing events to determine effectiveness
• Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data to provide qualitative input into the strategic marketing plans
• Developing and managing community engagement plans with the Sales Manager for each of the communities
• Reviewing new technologies and make appropriate recommendations to ensure marketing strategy is relevant across the competitive landscape
• Delivering specified commercial outcomes across the business such as lead generation, cost per lead/cost per sale targets, sales and community engagement
• Liaising with designers and printers
• Organising photo shoots
• Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing collateral
• Maintaining and updating customer databases
• Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
• Sourcing and securing sponsorships
• Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups
• Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
• Developing and maintaining relationships with external agencies including campaign briefing
• Developing and maximising third party relationships (including designers and printers) to deliver business objectives and marketing strategies

The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience in a similar role in a customer centric industry – ideally project marketing or property development, or aged care.
• Demonstrated ability in developing marketing campaigns and implementing set strategies
• Proven track record in achieving commercial results
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the subsequent pro-active management of opportunities
• Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment
• Ability to think in terms of cost control, commercial and financial outcomes and value enhancement
• Willingness to assist other areas from time to time as appropriate
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight time-frames
• Effective and impactful communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Ability to assess a situation through investigation and identify key issues and implement a solution focused outcome
• Self-motivated and proactive team player
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Available to occasionally travel within the portfolio and greater business as required to assist the frontline teams with events, expos and open days

Technical Skills / Qualifications
• Effective and efficient use of the Microsoft Office suite
• Previous experience with EDM campaigns and CRM software
• Skilled in copywrtting to both internal and external stakeholders
• Adequate knowledge of graphic design
• Relevant tertiary and industry qualifications in Marketing and/or Communications
