Job Description

(Level B) $102,952 to $121,779 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Two, fixed term, full-time opportunities available for two years.

We are seeking Researchers to work in a competitive research environment in an area focused on the impacts natural and built environments have on people.

Reporting to the Director, Australian Centre for Housing Research, these research positions will work specifically on residential built environments, and / or health and wellbeing. The successful applicants will be joining a highly driven and enthusiastic research group where the mentoring of doctoral students is expected.

The successful applicants will hold a PhD in environmental science, geography, public health, public policy, data science or similar, and have the ability to build relationships and collaborate successfully with a range of internal and external stakeholders on these research projects.

To be successful you will need:

  • A PhD in environmental science, geography, public health, public policy, data science or similar.
  • Experience working in a competitive research environment in an area focused on the impacts natural and built environments on people.
  • A sound understanding residential built environments, and / or health and wellbeing.
  • Ability to attract competitive external research funds.
  • Well-developed quantitative skills, especially those relevant to environmental and public health monitoring.
