About the Role

We are currently seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our operations at Russell Island, Southern Moreton Bay Islands.  

  • Ensure facilities at the Operations Base are cleaned and serviced as directed
  • Vessels to be cleaned in accordance to a high standard and within procedure
  • Thoroughly clean all common areas in the staff accommodation building and office block. (Kitchen, toilets, showers, living areas, offices etc.) 
  • Restock of consumables 
  • Report defects to the Operations Manager 
  • Advise administration staff when stock requires ordering
  • Maintain personal grooming and dress standards as set out in the Uniform Policy including appropriate PPE.
  • Supervised maintenance duties as required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working within fast-paced, dynamic teams; knowledge and compliance of legislation and operating procedures, customer service, and be safety focused.

  • Previous experience working in a similar fast paced, role – Essential
  • Attention to detail and strong verbal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated safety and environmental work culture
  • Willingness to work as both part of a team and independently
  • Demonstrated reliability and ability to respond and adapt to changing business needs
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Ability to be available across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays
