About the role

Reporting to the Senior HRBP QLD/NT/NSW/WA we are looking for a dedicated HR Business Partner to partner with the NSW portfolio.

Elders HR Business Partners are the key link between the business and the organisational people initiatives. With the backing of dedicated centres of expertise (L&D, Recruitment, HR Services, OD) you will be hands-on, supporting all aspects of the HR lifecycle for NSW to drive a values, safety and performance based culture. The role partners people leaders through employment relations; performance and reward; leadership coaching and development; employee engagement and enablement; and talent management.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership team and line managers to implement organisational people initiatives and to develop and drive a people plan that supports business goals
  • Identify workplace and workforce trends and make recommendations for action
  • Coach and supporting internal stakeholders on all HR issues including employee relations, policy interpretation and performance management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and trends

About you

  • Strong track record of supporting the full employment lifecycle
  • Ability to work both autonomously and part of a national team
  • Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders and providing advice
  • Enjoy influencing stakeholders and adding value across the commercial business
  • Solid understanding of Office 365 and exposure to HRIS (Workday would be a bonus)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a relevant discipline
