Come and discover our permanent Team Member roles at our Orrcon Steel business in Salisbury, with no experience needed. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and a leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

We have multiple roles available across the Salisbury plant! Whether you’re looking for job security, a new career path, or wanting to get back into the workforce, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll provide you with all the on-the-job training and support you need to thrive in your new career as a Team Member, allowing for future career development opportunities. These positions may require some lifting and manual handling. We’ll make sure that you’re supported with all the necessary ongoing training and equipment to complete these tasks safely.    

What Will You Do?

As a valued member of our manufacturing team, you’ll work at our largest manufacturing site and:

• support and promote a safe working environment
• operate machinery to manufacture our high-quality products
• safely pack and strap our products for secure delivery
• monitor products for quality control and contribute to our success
• learn to operate cranes, forklifts, and other machinery

Roster: You’ll work a Monday-Friday fortnightly rotating roster. This will consist of 2 weeks of day shift, 2 weeks of nights shift and 2 weeks of afternoon shift. This will look like:

• Day: Monday to Friday (06:00 to 14:00)
• Afternoon: Monday to Friday (14:00 to 22:00)
• Night: Sunday to Thursday (22:00 to 06:00) (Friday 6am finish)

Further down the line, some available roles may operate on a 24/7 roster.
