Opportunity for a Data and Analytics Lead to join a newly created Customer Identification Remediation Analytics team. You are a data technology professional who enjoys building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting data analysts under squad delivery model.

You will be a key player in the CIR stream lead group with exposure to senior business stakeholders, with SME knowledge on banking industry and corresponding data landscape.

You will engage our key stakeholders in CIR and support the squad delivery model by proactively communicating with squad leads, product owners, managing expectations and advocating for the Analytics and Insights stream.

You will also support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with other stream leads, with exposure to cutting-edge techniques, cloud-based data modelling and algorithm-based insights projects with supervised and unsupervised models.

You will be responsible for:

  • Representing CIR analytics function in key squad ceremonies and working closely with business stakeholder as trusted advisor with data analytics and insights expertise.
  • Coaching junior analytics sources allocated into squad on analytics mindset, effective communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to simplify and automate analytical workflows and deliver value to our customers and stakeholders.
  • Providing technical leadership to Analytics sources in Python, Pyspark, and advocating best practice for coding, version control and data governance.

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience on delivering analytical solutions with large-scale financial industry data models. Ideally 5+ years’ experience working in large organisations and/or top tier consulting firms.
  • Working experience of modern data warehousing architecture including dimensional data modelling expertise
  • Ability to build relationships, manage expectations/timelines and influence key stakeholders at senior level.
  • Proven team leadership or coaching experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS-based technologies is desired but not mandatory.
