The Cyber Security team are seeking a Cyber Vulnerability Assessment Analyst to perform assessments of platforms, systems and networks to identify undesirable configurations.  In addition, measure effectiveness of defence-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.

Reporting to the CIO, this role will, investigate, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents within the University.

As the technical expert, you will make recommendations regarding the selection of cost-effective security controls and evaluate compliance with regulations and organisational directives, and perform technical and nontechnical risk and vulnerability assessments of relevant technology.

To be considered, you will need a minimum of 3 years’ experience in cyber security or related experience in either systems administration or service desk.
