Job Description

Due to ongoing growth within our digital COE, we are looking to recruit a Senior SEO Specialist to commence on a 12 mth fixed term contract, the role will report into our Head of Digital Performance – where the purpose of this role is to maintain Allianz’s strong organic search presence and drive further growth and efficiencies from the channel. Not only identifying and rolling out impactful technical and content best practices but leveraging new and exciting third party partnerships such as the Allianz stadium and Olympics. You’ll work closely with multiple internal stakeholders and our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) agency to bring initiatives to life.

This role requires a strong understanding of SEO to firstly identify growth opportunities and then prioritise initiatives according to effort and impact. You’ll use your strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to progress ideas through to execution and thereafter gathering insights about performance and providing a constant feedback loop to share learnings, build momentum and replicate successes by rolling out improvements across Allianz’s multiple products and platforms

Responsibilities in the role:

  • Build content and optimisation plans for all products and ensure the agency provides relevant technical and copywriting support.
  • Oversee technical and content recommendations from the SEO agency and liaise with relevant product, technical, legal and compliance managers through to implementation.
  • Test and analyse SEO improvements based on rankings, web analytics and insights, and develop further recommendations for platform optimisation.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of technical and content changes, and collaborate across the division to identify and pursue new opportunities for optimisation.
  • Ensure that organic search web analytics reporting is integrated into the Consumer reporting suite, and regularly reported back to stakeholders.
  • Initiate new ideas to further improve website, navigation, site speed and content on all sites in addition to identifying best practice SEO and internal search improvements.
  • Leverage analytics and competitor monitoring tools to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Project manage expansion of new content from keyword selection to briefing copywriters, coordinating content approvals with multiple internal stakeholders, UAT testing and post launch analysis.
  • Act as a custodian of the Allianz brand, ensuring alignment and consistency of brand messaging across marketing material.
  • Contribute to the development and streamlining of processes and procedures to enable an effective operating rhythm and proactively manage risk
     

Important to your success:
You’ll have significant experience with execution of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and best practice in this arena.
Solid experience with website design, information architecture, page layouts, as well as exposure to various internet marketing channels like Search Engine Marketing (SEM), display, social or email marketing.
Have prior experience with Adobe Experience Manager and / or other corporate level CMS and understanding of the functionality and limitations that they can bring.
Demonstrated understanding of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, server-side scripting, web servers and log files.
Demonstrated analytics skills with the ability to pull out key data sets and report on trends, conversions and engagement rates.
Experience delivering projects using agile methodologies will be helpful as is experience in design thinking and customer journey mapping.
