Four Seasons, one of the worlds most luxurious hotel brands, is looking for an experienced Catering Sales & Group Planning Coordinator to join the highly successful Sales & Marketing team in our largest property based in Sydney, located on the picturesque Sydney Harbour. Our exquisite catering offering consists of over 1300 square metres of flexible function space, including Sydney’s premiere Grand Ballroom which seats up to 600 guests.

We are seeking an individual who has a passion for the industry and is keen to grow and build their career with the world’s leading brand in luxury, Four Seasons.

The Catering Sales & Group Planning Coordinator works very closely with all members of the catering team, providing them with crucial administration and operational support, making them the backbone of the team.

Reporting to the Director of Catering & Conference Services, you will:

  • Prepare effective proposals, contracts, presentations, reports and general communication

  • Utilise the client management database

  • Liaise closely with the clients in the planning stages of conferences, events and group stays.

  • Work closely with all key Hotel operational departments to ensure service execution whilst groups and functions/events are in house and in turn ensuring the clients satisfaction

  • Organise and be the point of contact for internal Hotel events

  • Work together with our on site AV company to provide audio visual needs for conferences and events, as well as other outside suppliers and contractors engaged by the client or Hotel to provide services.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A passion to provide an outstanding guest/client experience

  • The ability to build a strong rapport with all clients

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a large operation
