Account Manager / Senior Account Manager – Workers Compensation – NSW – Sydney (9-month maternity leave secondment)

We are looking for an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join our Personal Injury Division in Sydney to manage a designated portfolio of Corporate Workers Compensation clients.  

This role sits within our Client Services & Distribution team which is responsible for the distribution and account management of corporate workers compensation accounts across NSW, Victoria and risk state portfolios. You will therefore have the opportunity to join a team with a truly national workers compensation offering.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing a designated portfolio of corporate clients ensuring their renewal with Allianz
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to lead the way with the distribution of our established and emerging products
  • Proactively developing customer relationships by understanding business performance and unique service requirements
  • Taking ownership by providing solutions and aligning our claims and underwriting teams as well as other internal stakeholders to resolve complex client issues
  • Remaining up to date with key legislative, regulatory and scheme reforms across the various States of operation.
  • Scope to manage transition of large-scale programs under our various service offerings

Important to your success:

  • You will have experience in Workers Compensation or Long Tail Claims in either claims, underwriting, broking or consulting.
  • Knowledge of National Workers Compensation Legislation and Regulations (desirable)
  • You will be an excellent communicator bringing the ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • You will have a passion for customer service and will deliver on excellent service levels for our clients.
  • You are known for your strong analytical skills in addition to business focused solutions with the ability to work with performance data and developing tangible strategies and outcomes.
