Working in a small and friendly environment, with flexible hours and work-from-home opportunities the Marketing and Sponsorship Officer will be confident and have an outgoing personality to be successful in sourcing and servicing sponsors, managing grants, and promoting and branding the Association.
Hours can be negotiated, working 3 to 5 days per week.
Pony Club WA is an equestrian organisation with youth and young people as core members, though we cater for all ages of equestrians with a considerable adult population. We have 55 clubs affiliated to us with nearly members, making us the largest equestrian association in WA. Pony CLub WA is supported by discipline committees and dedicated volunteers.
Our focus is on the education and training of young riders and to support this we have a very strong competition structure. Pony Club encompasses the Olympic disciplines of Dressage, Showjumping, and Eventing as well as Mounted Games, Tetrathlon and Quiz.
It is not essential to be involved in equestrian activities to be successful in this role. The key elements to succeed are an outgoing personality, confidence in being able to contact, liaise and negotiate sponsorships, an eye for detail, and a flair for digital creativity – which includes social media, website, and documents.
Pony Club WA has developed a very strong brand, and your role will be to manage that brand for consistency.

Our offices are based at the State Equestrian Centre located in Brigadoon, with some of the best views from your desk across green paddocks. Additionally, we have very flexible work hours and work-from-home opportunities. We provide all the equipment so that you can seamlessly work from home or the office.
