NIGHT SHIFT
ASSOCIATE NURSE UNIT MANAGER
36 hours per fortnight (0.4 EFT)
Applications are being sought for the position of Night Shift ANUM at The Geelong Clinic. This exciting position offers the opportunity to work as a senior nurse at TGC in charge of our clinical units, predominantly in the off duty period of the NUM. The position will be based on Sunnymeade Ward which specializes in treatment of Eating Disorders as well as general psychiatry.
Providing direct nursing care to patients, having a portfolio and supervision and mentoring of unit staff /students is required within this key middle management role.
The management position offers supportive structure & professional development opportunities.
Selection Criteria
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration in Nursing as recognised in Victoria (AHPRA)
- Minimum three years clinical experience in Mental Health
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills
- Management experience advantageous
