About the role

Mater Human Resources currently has an exciting opportunity for a HR Service Adviser – Position Management to join the team. This role is being offered in a maximum term capacity for 7 months and PT (2 days per week) basis. In this role you will provide support in the management of position and organisation structure in the HR system.

Salary: $38.11-$35.9 (MCAS4) plus superannuation and access to salary packaging

What you’ll be doing (but not limited to)

  • Manage the ongoing maintenance of the organisation structure and hierarchy by processing forms and requests related to Position Management including creating new positions, actioning changes to existing positions, updating position reporting lines, updating position costing etc.
  • Manage the maintenance of the organisational reporting hierarchies
  • Prepare and deliver accurate reports to Managers and other stakeholders to supply Position Management data for analysis and to support decision making
  • Partner and consult with Management Accountants to maximise (where possible) alignment of positions to financial budget and continually assess and improve the ongoing maintenance of Position Management
  • Identify, analyse and provide recommendations relevant to organisational structure and hierarchy changes as a result of direct requests or as a result of internal communications / memos
  • Maintain a general understanding of the downstream system considerations relevant to position and org structure properties to facilitate seamless operation of internal systems
  • Coordinate the implementation of bulk system changes related to positions and org structure (e.g. bulk cost centre or reporting line changes)
