The Role: Marketing Manager

S&P Global Market Intelligence is looking for a Marketing Manager focusing in developing marketing plans, executing, and analyzing marketing programs for his/her regional markets. Work with key stakeholders including Product and Sales, and collaborate with regional and global marketing colleagues for meeting marketing performance targets.

The Team:

This role will be a member of S&P Global Market Intelligence APAC Marketing team working alongside the sales and product management teams.

In this hands-on role you will be focusing on various industry sectors and market segments, leveraging all elements of the marketing mix to develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns that build our brand across APAC, deliver top-of-funnel results, and facilitate increased product usage and client retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing activities in the Pacific and the APAC region. 
  • Research, choose, design, and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates, and generate demand and leads. 
  • Engage with Sales, Market Development, and Product Management teams to design strategic marketing programs to achieve commercial goals. 
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities.
  • Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global and regional programs. 
  • Draft and edit marketing copy for marketing programs being deployed through various channels and create marketing assets and sales enablement tools based on knowledge about the market and clients and input from stakeholders.
  • Establish a regular cadence of reviewing programs and tactic results, detailed analysis of what’s driving the results, what can be improved, and key learnings to be applied in future programs/tactics.
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications or other related fields
  • At least 5 years’ experience in marketing roles, preferably in the B2B financial sector
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing plans and ideas aligned to sales and business goals and budget
  • Prior experience in building brand awareness in Asia Pacific with regional market knowledge
  • Experienced in creating marketing collateral and campaigns for awareness building and lead generation
  • Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data to prepare clear and concise reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and colleagues globally, written and verbally
  • Strong Communication, Project Management, and Presentation skills
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently, without direct supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and remain cognizant of deadlines and schedules
  • Experience in utilizing website and social media to promote content assets through SEO, SEM, and paid and organic social programs
  • Ability to collaborate with others beyond one’s reporting line
