Emergency Department Rn | Agency Contract | Western Australia

Curis Recruitment is currently partnering with this fantastic health service in Western Australia to help them find an Emergency Department RN or EN to join their team for an initial one month.

Job Details

• Nights only – 7 on 7 off from 27/3-18/6
• 10 hour shifts
• Return travel provided
• Full housing provided at no charge
• Hourly rate of $87.70 per hour (night shift rate) RN (level 8 and over)

There will be two nurses on shift an RN and an EN. As the Registered Nurse you must be willing to work collaboratively with the Enrolled Nurse to provide care in the Emergency Department, general patients and aged care residents.  The shifts are 10 hours and the EN/RN will work with an experienced triage ED RN. Great opportunity for a Nurse to gain some ED exposure if you have been looking for this opportunity.

There is no doctor in the town on weekends however there is an ETS doctor and district doctor on call at all times.

The Location
You will be living in a town approximately 200km from Perth in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The town is easily accessible by car, train or bus.  The shire has a population of approximately 1200 people and is a friendly community with all facilities required eg; supermarket, post office, chemist, hardware store, public and specialty shops.
 
To be eligible for this position you must:

• WACHS Triage competency ideally preferred however if you do not have this yet please still apply as you still may be considered
• Must have current ALS
• Must have at least two years recent ED experience
• Have full ahpra registration with no restrictions
