About Mona Vale View Care Community:

Mona Vale View Care Community offers compassionate and personalised care. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer long-term residential care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care.

Located near Mona Vale Golf Course, our home enjoys a leafy aspect and a peaceful atmosphere. Our covered terrace sitting and dining areas provide the perfect breezy spot to sit and catch up with family and friends, or enjoy moments of peaceful reflection.

About the role:

  • Permanent Part-time & Casual roles available
  • A range of shifts available including: AM, PM and Night Duty shifts. Weekday and weekend shifts are also available.
  • Assisting residents with Personal Care needs
  • Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living
  • Ensuring accurate and concise documentation in Care Planning
  • Working under the direction of Registered Nurses and Senior Management

Successful candidates will have: 

  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent
  • Work experience as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) in Australia
  • Knowledge of aged care regulations and funding (ACFI)
  • Knowledge of the 8 new aged care standards would be highly regarded, but not essential
  • Empathy towards the needs of the frail aged (dementia care included) is essential along with your passion for delivering high quality care

All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance via Opal’s police check system and undergo a pre-employment medical. You may also be required to attend a drug screen and complete psychometric testing. 

You must also be willing to obtain a personal NDISWC through your state government provider prior to commencing employment with us.

Please note: a current flu vaccination will also be required for you to work in our Care Communities, as well as full vaccination against COVID19.
