About the role:

The Clinical Placement Administrator Nursing assists the Nursing Clinical Placement Coordinator in the administration of clinical placements for Diploma of Nursing. The Administrator liaises with relevant industry partners, books placements, reports on placement data and trouble shoots problems that occur on placement. This position is responsible for maintaining internal central booking systems and external systems such as PlaceRight, In Place and Spot, attending related training and maintaining all required documentation. 

The Clinical Placement Administrator Nursing, in consultation with the Nursing Clinical Placement Coordinator, will assist with allocation of workplace visits and ensure compliance with workplace requirements. 

Your skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications

– Relevant qualification or no relevant work experience; or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
– Desirable experience in the Health Industry with particular emphasis in nursing or similar
– Desirable experience using Placeright and/or InPlace and/or Spot preferred

Expertise Requirements

– Clinical Placement Support: Ability to support the promotion and administration of a range of clinical placement opportunities for students or clients in a complex organisational context (offsite and in location). Knowledge of legal, ethical, professional and policy requirements involved in the establishment of work placement opportunities for students with disability.
– Customer/Client Service: Experience in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels, and a commitment to providing a high level of customer care in an administrative role. Experience in administration of educational delivery and / or professional services is an advantage. 
– Interpersonal and Communication Skills: A high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders.
