Where do you want to go?

This is great opportunity to support the development and the implementation of the category and shopper strategy and activations for allocated categories and brands across Bayers Consumer Health division.

The purpose of category and shopper management is to strategically align category and brands plans, acting as the link between the retailer, sales and marketing. Creating opportunities at point of purchase that are aimed at accelerating growth of the category for the benefit of Bayer and our retail partners.

Do something that moves you.

  • Support the category team in developing and refining the category shopper and channel plans
  • Help the category team in building the key inputs annual business planning cycle including brand and customer plan presentations.
  • Monitor and track category and brand performance for non-investment brands on a quarterly basis, ownership of test and learns brands.
  • Working closely with Data Suppliers and the SAI data analyst and Insights team with the latest shopper and scan data to support the Category Managers to adjust promotional and pricing strategy.
  • Building strong Bayer trading relationships with key internal stakeholders. Working closely with the KAMS in Grocery, Pharmacy, Route, Ecommerce.
  • Support the category team in developing category reviews and in the preparation and organization for customer planning workshops.
  • Support the category team in developing the best planogram based on current category strategies and work together with the trade activation managers for best in store implementation.

Does this sound like you?

  • Tertiary qualification and/or relevant sales / category management experience.
  • Experience within a FMCG and OTC environment.
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills.
  • Good presentation skills, alongside verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to learn Nielsen / IQVIA scan and panel data and space planning systems JDA Apollo or Spaceman.
