Warehouse Supervisor

Based in Benalla and reporting to the Supply Chain Director, in the capacity of Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage a high-pace, high-volume warehouse operation, overseeing the performance of a team of warehouse operatives to meet internal and external customer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Daily review of present and future labor planning and utilization to ensure required outputs are achievable within the allocated budget forecast
• Lead and drive the daily productivity meetings
• Ensure compliance with company KPIs and process 
• Ensure compliance to Quality Management System eg cyclic counts, audits
• Co-ordinate the team including labor-hire to complete work on time to expectations and recommend and plan for overtime if required
• Constant review of team performance and behavior in areas such as productivity, attendance, OHS&E, and quality
• Actively promote and implement continuous improvement principles as per the Schneider Production System (SPS)
• Participate in recruitment activities including interviews and short-listing applicants for vacancies
• Ensure validation of time details reports daily
• Ensure effective induction, training, and development is provided to the team

Experience and Skills:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar warehouse leadership role
• Strong SAP, Oracle, and Excel skills. Ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organization
• Have strong attention to detail
• Great organizational skills
• Be able to develop strong relationships with other key members of the supply chain leadership team
