JOB DESCRIPTION

Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, IRD`s and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct, it is the first accommodation, meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct. 

The group is currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator on a Full-time basis reporting to the Director of Human Resources. This role is suitable for someone who has a genuine interest in Human Resources and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment function, which includes but not limited to:

  • Assisting with coordinating employee engagement activities
  • Managing the Recruitment Inbox and delivering excellent service to our managers, applicants and new starters.
  • Assisting with posting job adverts, organising interviews, keeping recruitment reports up to date, and updating our recruitment database.
  • Assist in candidate sourcing, utilising a range of resourcing platforms.
  • Conducting candidate reference/background checks.
  • Collating and storing qualifications and documents.
  • Adding candidate notes to our database.
  • Answering general recruitment enquiries both internally and externally.
  • Assist and coordinate HR projects, initiatives and events 
  • Coordinate the efficient, accurate and timely delivery of HR administration processes
  • Assist with the employee on-boarding & off-boarding process
  • Ad-hoc administration duties as requested by Director of Human Resources.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Enthusiastic, driven and brings positive energy – you love to make things happen!
  • Completed or currently studying Human Resources or a related qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in a generalist Human Resources or hotel operation would be advantageous
  • A natural ability to connect with people and build relationships at all levels
  • A willingness to work as part of part of a team.
