Job Description

(HEO6) $82,879 to $89,525 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, full-time opportunity available until April 2024.

An exciting opportunity to provide expert advice, guidance and support in the development and content management of key University websites.

Working under direction of the Manager, Web Operations, the Web and Digital Coordinator is the first point of contact for all queries from University website maintainers and internal stakeholders. The position involves the effective utilisation of specialised technical, instructional and training skills along with high-level consultative and customer service skills. The role is key to the delivery of a modern, contemporary, user-focused and accessible website, that provides clear and accurate information to all website visitors.

To be successful you will need:

  • Sound working knowledge of HTML, CSS Skills & Content Management Systems, preferably Drupal.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing website content for different audiences, delivering training sessions and providing technical support and advice.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated writing for the web capability.
  • Knowledge of content optimisation, user experience, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), and web accessibility compliance.
  • Experience of working in a large and complex organisation, with higher education section experience an advantage.
