The Events Coordinator is a crucial member of the team that develops, produces and manages the major events of the History Trust of South Australia.

Job Description:
The Events Coordinator assists with the successful delivery of South Australia’s History Festival, the Bay to Birdwood and the History Trust’s named orations program.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team that uses event design principles  and assists with identifying, securing and servicing sponsorships and partnerships. The team works closely with marketing and communication to foster and develop audiences and relationships with tourism and event organisers around South Australia and nationally. A collaborative and enthusiastic mindset is essential.

About you:

Special Conditions:  
Some out of hours work will be required. Occasional weekend work will be required. Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working with Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required and a current driver’s licence is essential. 

Additional Note:
This is a full-time contract role (1.0 FTE), initial 24-month term contract.
