The Role

Working as part of the global ICON University team, the purpose of this role is to partner with the business to align ICONs learning strategy with organisational strategic goals and growth requirements and in the diagnosis of capability requirements. This role is a key driver for supporting ICON’s philosophy of growing our own talent and ensuring a strong pipeline of internal talent to meet business needs. This role will also partner in the development of learning programs and interventions in collaboration with ICON University Portfolio and Program owners and lead and/ or support broader Organisation Development projects.

What you will be doing:

  • Act as a trusted partner to a dedicated business area, the Learning Partner is responsible for understanding the organisational learning and development requirements in line with the broader growth strategy and requirements and in the diagnosis of learning and development needs and supporting the development of effective interventions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to HR COEs in the diagnosis and delivery of learning and development needs in line with HR People Plans.
  • Leadership, oversight, and management of the learning needs analysis process reviewing and analysing learning requirements arising in the business, aligning with learning strategy and partnering with ICON University Teams on the development and implementation of learning solutions.
  • Leadership, oversight, and ownership of the learning assignments review process working with the ICON University team to deliver on scheduled reviews of learning assignments.
  • Lead and collaborate with ICON University teams in identifying and implementing key methods of learning evaluation and align with business on specific requirements and outputs.
  • Leverage tools, processes, data, dashboards, and analytics to support and report on the delivery, effectiveness and outputs of training programs and solutions.
  • Proactively lead and advise in the design and successful implementation of Organisation Development and Effectiveness and key strategic HR programmes and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability and capability to work with senior/executive leaders and as an SLT learning partner in leading on specific learning and development goals and requirements and reporting on success measurement and outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational knowledge and demonstrated business acumen supporting the ability to understand and align specific business requirements with the broader ICON learning strategy and to develop and implement solutions and interventions in line with this and in alignment with ICON University Catalogue of Learning both at a program and curriculum level.
  • Excellent knowledge of ICON University Catalogue of Learning, promotion of ICON University solutions, programs and learning interventions in the business as appropriate ensuring existing solutions are leveraged across the business.
  • Build a strong network of relationships throughout the business, with a specific focus on assigned business area(s).
  • Lead with creative and innovative in the learning & development space; apply best in class practices in approach, interventions, and targeted solutions.
  • Consider diversity and inclusion in the proposed solutions and delivery of learning objectives for ICON.
  • Work collaboratively and proactively as part of the wider ICON University and HR team
  • Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON’s values, which centre around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance.
  • Prepare and manage the budget associated with assigned programmes and projects of responsibility
  • Travel may be required (approximately 20) domestic and/or international.
