This is delivered through strong relationships with key stakeholders; management of people strategies and plans; addressing systemic and individual staffing issues; promoting performance management and career planning; coaching and developing managerial expertise and providing support. They also act as an interface with the Employee Relations team in resolving significant industrial relations issues and delivering effective change processes.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced professional to join the University’s Office of People HR Partnerships Team as Senior HR Partner. This role is pivotal to supporting the University and its People Agenda. Your assigned Portfolio includes key stakeholders across a variety of university sectors providing HR services and advice to enable them to foster a high-performance culture. Building an in-depth knowledge of their People related challenges and opportunities is essential to providing business partnering and promoting a culture of service excellence.As a senior member of the HR Partnerships team, this position encompasses facilitating of human resource strategies for clients, leading change implementations as well as advising on disciplinary matters, grievances, and disputes. Leading a small team of HR Advisors: you will bring:Generalist HR experience at the HR Manager (Senior HRBP) level within a large multidisciplined organisation;Demonstrable experience working with policies, practices and procedures from a formal environment with strong industrial presence;Proven experience supporting stakeholders leading adversarial discussions to a positive and constructive outcome;Familiar with facilitating discussions and mediating between both managers and employees to address grievances and disputes;Contributing to the development and implementation of effective organisational change processes to achieve best practice HR solutions;Familiar managing people related case management processes and controls resulting in positive outcomes for key stakeholders.BenefitsWestern Sydney University has long been identified as a University of the people.
