About the Opportunity

Monash Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Midwives to work NIGHT DUTY ONLY. We have arange of EFT available from 32 hours/fortnight to a maximum of 76 hours/fortnight across our sites.

Choose to work within our diverse range of specialties including:

  • Acute Medicine -Emergency, General Medicine
  • Speciality Medicine, Cancer & Critical Care – ICU, CCU, Oncology, Palliative Care
  • Surgery & Interventional Services – Anaesthetics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Orthopaedic surgery, Monash Heart, Plastic Surgery, Renal
  • Sub-Acute, Aged Care & Rehabilitation, Residential Services
  • Community – Hospital in the Home, Post-Acute Care
  • Women’s & Newborn – Birth Unit, Antenatal and Postnatal
  • Monash Children’s Hospital – Paediatrics, Intensive Care, Special Care and NICU

As a Monash Health employee, you will maintain a high level of communication with consumers, carers, visitors and colleagues enabling you to deliver exceptional care.

About You:

  • An experienced Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse and Registered Midwife with a strong focus on patient centred care and good communication skills.
  • Able to work to work Night Duty shifts across Monash Health sites
  • Required to work across a minimum of three (3) Monash Health sites
  • As the face of Monash Health Bureau, you will consistently demonstrate the core guiding principles of Monash health.

If you have previously been unsuccessful in your application to Monash Health, you are required to gain a minimum of six (6) months further clinical experience before re-applying.

What you need to have:

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Police Check: not more than 3 months old
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Relevant working visa (With full working rights)
  • Proven relevant experience-six (6) months acute nursing experience
  • Proof of COVID vaccination/immunisation history status
  • Current Employee Working with Children’s Check
  • Reference Checks x two (2)-Applicants are required to provide a reference from current/recent clinical manager.

Monash Health Bureau (MHB) workforce unit that allocates over 500 shifts per day across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Kingston Centre and Monash Children’s.  We deliver experienced nursing and midwifery staff to meet the demands of a multi specialised and fast-growing organisation.

We are now recruiting professional and skilled Registered Nurses/Midwives/ENs to join our Nursing and Midwifery Permanent Pool workforce (Night Duty Shifts Only)
