Purpose of the Role…

Optus Enterprise Sales are seeking an expert Account Manager to join the Enterprise Sales team, based in Brisbane Queensland. The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for developing and securing new business for Optus Enterprise. The AM will thrive and deliver working within a territory of larger businesses with telecommunications spend. You will develop high level customer relationships and deliver complex product and service solutions, demonstrating a high level of experience dealing with Senior Executives across large organisations. Success will be evident in the measurement of billed revenue, profitability of revenue, signing of new business orders and customer satisfaction results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high sales activity levels to generate an effective opportunity pipeline
  • Develop sound customer relationships, covering all relevant contacts within the customer account. Manage the involvement of all other Optus groups responsible for supporting the customer
  • Ensure the Optus focus products are efficiently represented to all prospects
  • Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of your complete territory, your specific customers and the opportunities you are working on whilst providing clear and positive communication to all relevant Optus collaborators to ensure that the customers needs are met.

About You:

  • Strong experience in a corporate sales role, preferably within business to business (B2B) sales
  • Consultative selling style with the skills to sell technical products and complex business solutions
  • A great foundation in general business insight with the ability to collaborate effectively to the C-Level; strong verbal, written, presentation and active listening skills
  • Experience in the development of account and opportunity plans and internal business cases
  • Ability to optimally navigate and influence sophisticated sales at senior levels
