  • Support Research Worker Level 3 – Total Remuneration $69,202 to $77,105 pa (including salary of $58,477 to $65,155 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading) 
  • Support Research Worker Level 4 – Total Remuneration $79,115 to $83,564 pa (including salary of $66,854 to $70,613 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

Do you have a passion for agriculture and are looking for a role where you can support research within this industry?  We are seeking a motivated person to provide a range of administrative and lab/technical support to the developing and emerging spice industry in Northern Australia.  

You will provide support to field trials and support and assist the research team with field experiments, conducting laboratory analyses, and assist with general maintenance/upkeep of research facilities, equipment, and research supplies.

You will also contribute to data collection and maintenance of data records.  This exciting position will see you undertake some travel throughout Central and Northern Australian locations and provide you with the opportunity to be involved and make a significant impact in the development of emerging cropping industries for northern Australia.  

The successful candidate will be initially appointed to the appropriate salary level based on their current qualifications, skills and experience, as assessed by the selection panel. 
 

Position Requirements

  • General understanding and experience in crop production industries or systems, in either commercial or research contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  •  ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
  • The successful candidate will be required to undertake travel to Central and North QLD, Norther Territory and Western Australia
