Where you'll be working

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing

Provide individualised excellent patientclient care within a health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for a patientclient, within a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes   People with disabilities who meet the selection criteria are encouraged to apply; and where required, WSLHD will implement reasonable adjustment consistent with industry standard.

Essential Criteria

Registration: Current Nursing Registration (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

  1. Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  2. Current perioperative experience in AnaestheticsRecovery andor Scrub Scout roles .
  3. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  4. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
  5. Demonstrated effective communication skills- written and verbal
  6. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team
  7. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
