Job Description

NBHis a newly built hospital commissioned in October 2018. Mental Health Servicesat comprise of Emergency Mental Health, inpatient services and liaisonservices. Mental Health inpatient has a total of 61 beds including acute,private, short stay and psychogeriatric.

As a Registered Nurse youwill provide quality health care services to the Northern Beachescommunity. We offer 12 hour shifts and flexible rostering. We are keen tohear from senior mental health staff, so if you are looking for a change andinterested in joining our team give us a call

Your experience:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children check
  • Minimum 3 years experience in mental health nursing
  • Interest in working towards further post graduate education
  • Mentoring and coaching junior staff and new graduates.
  • Commitment to Recovery focused practice.
  • Interest in developing quality projects for the mental health inpatient units.
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Basic computer skills 

    • Thisposition is based in a large, friendly and supportive environment. It is a 24/7service and so you will need to have the flexibility to work a full rotatingroster.

    Ifyou are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your yearsof relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope andNSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2015 – 2019.
