Key attributes and responsibilities:

Provide high quality care that meet current best practice standards

Highly competent scrub/scout in a range of spinal and cranial neurosurgical procedures

Work closely with ANUM and other staff to ensure delivery of high quality care, efficiency of services and to develop a strong working relationship with the surgeons

Ability to co-ordinate and manage surgical lists

Knowledge of current ACORN standards and relevant legislation

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

Communication and interpersonal skills

Participation in a rotating seven day roster, including on-call (days negotiable)

Essential Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA

Working with Children check 

Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards

Proven experience within a similar role and specialty

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Basic computer skills

Shift work and on call duties compulsory
