  • Total Indicative Remuneration: $63,052 – $73,733 (pro rata) – ENC/END; $73,733 – $100,605 (pro rata) – RNM1

  • We are seeking:

  • Enrolled Nurses to support the Registered Nurse/Midwife across RMCLHN in the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements. Practice at this level is from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse practice. Employees at this level work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife, however at all times the Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility for his/her actions and remains accountable in providing nursing/midwifery care.
  • You will be Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and must hood or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.

  • Registered Nurses and Midwives to join the friendly and professional team within the Regional Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network. Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement or coordinate high quality nursing or midwifery care. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff and other workers providing basic nursing or midwifery care. Consolidating your knowledge and skills, you will develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team. Opportunities will exist to provide care to surgical (including day surgery), obstetrics, outpatients, emergency department, dialysis and aged care. RMCLHN also has 2 chemotherapy units with trained and accredited Registered Nurses to provide chemotherapy treatment and other cancer services, including infusions. The health services are supported by medical imaging and pathology services across the region.
  • You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practising certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing/midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a rural health setting.
