JOB DESCRIPTION This role is only open to Australian residents or applicants who have full legal rights to work in Australia. Visa sponsorship opportunities are not available. A Groups, Conference and Events (C & E) Sales Executive will maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. What will I be doing? Your role will be to promote, sell and control the events from initial enquiry to contracting. Be able to efficiently qualify and sell the Hotel for conference and events. To build up powerful customer relationships that deliver repeat business. Maximise revenue through actively converting enquiries into confirmed. Consistently strive to develop relationships with new and repeat booking customers to increase revenue and demand. To assist in training and manage junior team members. To assist in making Hilton events the Market leader. Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team Manage an events schedule to maximise yield To handle all incoming groups, conference and events leads professionally through all channels e.g. by phone and or online channels Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events Participate in hotel promotional activitiesWhat are we looking for? A Groups, C & E Sales Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
