You would be part of our multi-disciplinary environment & sustainability team, which covers all aspects of environmental assessment, monitoring and permitting, carbon management, climate resilience, sustainable building and infrastructure design, and corporate sustainability reporting and strategy developmentWe work as part of a vibrant and diverse office of engineering, technology and management specialists who work together on schemes which have social and environmental benefits. We also engage with local communities through our outreach work and have an active social scene which is inclusive to all our people.Your responsibilities will include:•Lead environmental approvals and impact assessment processes on major and/or complex projects, including, coordination of specialist assessments, stakeholder engagement, interfacing across project teams, and documentation.•Provide specialist advice in relation to environmental management, with experience in both Commonwealth and State legislation, policies and guidelines, including Environmental Management Systems and in conducting environmental risk assessments.•Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to provide project development and delivery advice in relation to environmental risks and opportunities.•Leverage existing client relationships and build new relationships to support developing a diverse and robust business.•Mentor junior team members to build capability in a team focused, positive environment.•Lead and support the development of proposals and bid submissions. Candidate Specification About you: •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar•Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental approvals and management•Familiarity with Commonwealth and State environmental legislation and their application to facilitate the delivery of infrastructure projects.•Broader experience in project management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and/or environmental legislation across Australia would be viewed favourably.In return we offer you the opportunity to build a dynamic career and make the world you love.
