Where you will be working

Tumbarumba Multipurpose Service provides emergency, medical and residential aged care services, including palliative care and respite. Of the 43 beds, 33 are funded for residential aged care. Community health services include generalist community nursing, child and family health, physical activity groups, and a centre based day care. In addition there are a number of visiting services including a school dental service, dietitian, mental health/ drug and alcohol, radiography, physiotherapy, women’s health, speech pathology and occupational therapy.

About the Opportunity

As the Assistant in Nursing, you will be working under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse/Midwife to participate in the provision of safe, compassionate, person centred to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.

As an AIN, you will:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual/Acute Care or have completed one full year of your Bachelor of Nursing
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work proactively within a diverse Health Care Team
