Graduate Mine Geologist

The Role :

A diverse and hands-on opportunity has become available for a Graduate Mine Geologist at our Murrin Murrin operations. Working across Production and Development Geology , this role is a unique opportunity for you to keep a foot in both camps whilst working in a challenging multi-pit, multi-element mining environment.

You will be directly involved in:

Daily production duties including In-pit mapping, supervision of mining activities, ore block design, production reporting and mine to mill reconciliation;

Daily development duties including planning/designing resource drilling, lithological logging, QA/QC analysis and reporting, data processing and geological interpretation of drill data;

Being part of our team will also offer you exposure to industry best practice resource modelling techniques, making this role one of the most unique geology career opportunities in the market!

About You:

To be a successful contributor to the Geology team it is important that you can demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

A degree in Geology

A desire to learn

Desire to work across both production and development Geology

Vacation work experience in the mining sector will be highly regarded

You will be part of a medium sized team working with other departments’ onsite; therefore, your ability to work harmoniously within a team environment is essential.
