Salary package: $71,878 – $78,411 per annum plus 17% superannuation Terms: Full time, Continuing (Contingent Funded) (initial 12 months)

Position overview

Working under the direction of the Deputy Manager, Student Engagement, the Engagement and Outreach Assistant contributes to the University strategic priority of achieving equity by effectively assisting with the administration and management of the First-Year Experience program (FYE), supporting students from regional, rural, remote and low-SES backgrounds in their first year at ANU and the School to Tertiary Outreach Mentor Program (STOMP).

The role plays a key part in supporting the administration, coordination and reporting on the operational aspects of the programs including organising activities and answering student enquiries. There is also the opportunity to support the development of new outreach activities to engage students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.
