Aveo is seeking a highly motivated  Assistant Community Manager  to join our team at Aveo Westport  in Queenstown, SA.

As our Assistant Community Manager , you will work closely with the Community Manager to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the community.
Your customer centred approach to your work and ability to connect with our residents will help you be successful. You will be committed to helping ensure all experience a safe, inviting and well-run community.

About Aveo Westport & role:

  • Vibrant retirement community with independent living villas/rooms and serviced apartments 
  • Part-time position available – 24hrs per week
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays (8:30am to 3pm)
  • Monitoring and reviewing village compliance in relation to the Retirement Villages Act
  • Assistant with budget development & management
  • Assistant with policies and procedures & overall financial management
  • About you:

  • Current Police Check certificate
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Tertiary qualification in business or related discipline (preferable)
  • Experience in a management support role
  • Demonstrated knowledge in relevant legislation, Retirement Accreditation standards, processes and criteria (desirable)
  • Intermediate to Advanced user of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
